I am a certified birth doula and a postpartum doula based out of Brooklyn. I'm passionate about providing my clients safe, respectful, loving, and equitable care throughout their journey to meeting their new baby. I am here to offer a sense of stability and comfort as I support you through your unique experience whether that's in a hospital setting, birth center, or the comfort of your home. I focus on supporting clients to have all the information and referrals they could need so that they can make informed decisions for what's best for them and their family. I also work to hold a nonjudgmental space of emotional and physical support for you and your partner, if you have one, during labor and delivery. I believe it is every person's right to have an empowered and gentle birth experience and I am here to protect and cultivate that space for you. "Ally was our incredible, giving, peaceful, easy, steady, intuitive doula. This was our second baby and we did a homebirth with Ally. Ally met with me in home several times as we got ready for the birth. They made me feel so confident and excited. They did a mini birth class refresh for us. They brought all kinds of tools / bouncy ball / resources and strategies for pain management and setting a beautiful zen scene with candles, scents, music. It was everything I could have dreamed of. Lol And then as can happen, everything went wildly fast. Labor was basically 2.5 hours and midwife and Ally barely made it in time. We had a beautiful second daughter in our bathtub before we had time to set up the birthing pool. Then Ally stayed and took care of us for hours. They helped me breast feed, made coffee, got snacks, helped us process the insanely fast birth and stayed around until we were totally confident and comfortable with our new babe. They came back the next week and we all talked through the birth again and celebrated together. I cannot recommend them enough as a doula. Their vibe is perfect. They're gentle yet grounded and just loves babies and kids. Wish I could have another baby just to work with Ally again, but we're happy as a family of 4.
